    Are you looking for an opportunity to put your organization and attention to detail to work while making a meaningful difference in the lives of hospice patients and their families? If so, consider Agrace's Clinical Assistant role. This is a fast-paced position responsible for the administrative support for our Inpatient Hospice Unit. Duties include scheduling and coordinating meetings, running reports, auditing patient charts, coordinating staff onboarding, monitoring daily census and patient waiting lists, reviewing staff time sheets, and staff mileage reimbursements. This position will also be cross-trained to provide back-up to our staff scheduler and unit assitants.

     

    For more than 35 years, Agrace has been a nonprofit, community based health care agency dedicated to providing expert physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and families through the stages of serious illness. Agrace Hospice is nationally recognized for the comprehensive hospice services we provide in patients' homes, the Agrace Hospice inpatient units and skilled nursing and assisted living facilities throughout south central Wisconsin and north central Illinois.

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in healthcare administrative support and the sensitivity to work with terminally ill patients and their families. They will have the ability to organize varied work with great attention to detail and love working in a team atmosphere. This position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, hours are 8A-4:30P with some flexibility within business hours.     Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience

    1-2 years' administrative experience in a healthcare setting

    Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills

    Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others

    Experience using Epic or other electronic health records

    Ability to be flexible in time and task to meet organizational needs

    Ability to maintain confidentiality about patients, families, caregivers, staff, donors, and organizational intellectual property
