The Billing and Collection Specialist will work as part of our Finance team and is responsible for accurate and timely billing and collection of patient accounts. This position verifies all required documentation that supports hospice billing, insures the accuracy of payer information, creates invoices, and generates claims to insure that filing requirements are met for each pay source. This position also reviews, analyzes, and collects accounts receivable balances to insure timely collection.
This position communicates with both internal and external customers over the phone and computer. Exceptional customer service skills across all platforms is required to be successful in this role.
