  • Overview

    The Regional Director of HomeCare Clinical Operations directs all aspects of the patient and family-centered home care (including both in homes and long-term care) and is accountable for excellence in clinical practice and care delivery. Included in this role is accountability for ensuring hospice services are consistent wtih the philosophy, goals, standards, regulations and policies of Agrace.

    Responsibilities

    Specific responsibilities of the Regional Director include the development, implementation and measurement of the overall strategic direction of the Home Care Program in collaboration with the other Directors of Clinical Operations. This position is accountable for and drives quality improvement initiatives that improve outcomes, patient and family satisfaction, financial sustainability, and growth within the region. This position provides leadership and direct supervision to Clinical Team Managers within the region, ensuring efficient daily operations and consistent and equitable utilization of resources across teams. This position promotes a positive and effective culture through coaching, facilitation, decision-making, problem-solving, census building, and regulatory and clinical expertise.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree with clinical background, Master’s preferred. Five to seven plus years hospice or healthcare industry experience with progressive responsibilities.
    2. Certification/Registration/Licensure: Current, unrestricted Wisconsin RN license, if applicable; or current WI SW license, if applicable, and CHPN certification within one year of employment.
    3. Five to Seven (5-7) years clinical leadership and/or a healthcare administrative role, preferably in a hospice environment.
    4. Five (5) years progressive supervisory experience.
    5. Valid driver license and car insurance and reliable access to an automobile in good operating condition.
