The Medical Services Administrative Assistant supports Agrace's mission by providing administrative support to the medical services and palliative care departments. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with the scheduling of staff, reviewing staff time sheets and mileage reimbursement requests, coordinating palliative care work queues in EPIC, coordinating department meetings, and serving as primary back up to the Medical Services Coordinator.
For more than 35 years, Agrace has been a nonprofit, community based health care agency dedicated to providing expert physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and families through the stages of serious illness. Agrace Hospice is nationally recognized for the comprehensive hospice services we provide in patients' homes, the Agrace Hospice inpatient units and skilled nursing and assisted living facilities throughout south central Wisconsin and north central Illinois.
The ideal candidate will have experience using all Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word), managing the calendars/scheduling for both office and field based providers, and experience in EPIC (work queues, scheduling, reporting). To be successful in this position you will need to have great communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to be flexible in a fast paced team environment.
This position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday and reports to our Vice President, Medical Services and the Practice Manager.
