LPN - Inpatient Hospice Flex/per diem (Madison)

Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) seeking a hands-on nursing role with a progressive, mission-based organization? Join Agrace’s dedicated and collaborative interdisciplinary team in one of our beautiful inpatient units. Agrace’s Inpatient Unit nurses provide patient and family centered care through symptom management interventions, e-documentation, coordination of care, and patient & family education, all with the goal of meeting Agrace’s mission to enhance the quality of life for patients and families facing serious illness.

For more than 35 years, Agrace has been a nonprofit, community based health care agency dedicated to providing expert physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and families through the stages of serious illness. Agrace Hospice is nationally recognized for the comprehensive hospice services we provide in patients' homes, the Agrace Hospice inpatient units and skilled nursing and assisted living facilities throughout south central Wisconsin and north central Illinois.

The ideal candidate must be compassionate, collaborative & organized, have medication administration & up-to-date clinical skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment caring for a variety of patients & diagnoses. Per diem staff are asked to provide their availabiity for 4 shifts per month, including 2 weekend shifts.  All staff must be able to complete training and orientation within required time-frames. Ability to train at full time status is preferred.

• Current, unrestricted Wisconsin LPN license
• 1 year of experience, preferably in hospital, hospice or palliative care setting preferred
• CPR Certification preferred (required within 90 days of hire)
