The Developer/Data Analyst is a core member of Agrace’s Decision Support team, working under the direction of the Director of Finance. This position is responsible for continuing to develop and enhance an organized system to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and value of care at Agrace through the analysis of data. The Developer/Analyst will collaborate closely with other functions throughout the organization to identify and address their reporting needs.



Responsibilities

The Developer/Data Analyst will serve as a change agent to drive improvement activities and to be a results- and action-oriented team member. The Developer will participate in multidisciplinary teams in planning, organizing, coordinating, and facilitating efforts to measurably improve the value of the care provided by Agrace. The Analyst will also participate in other strategic and operational projects. The Analyst will be directly involved with multiple business areas across the organization and contribute to work teams that balance considerations of quality and cost in carrying out our mission. In this capacity, the Analyst will provide statistical and analytical insights, summarize information, carry out specific analyses, and present findings/recommendations to leadership. There will be a focus on developing easily-accessible, data-driven, decision support tools that clinical leaders can use to carry out their daily work by tailoring tools to specific levels of the organization.  As a key member of the Decision Support team, you will have a strong voice in creating our BI strategy and data environment.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience with Epic Systems/Clarity, systems/languages such as SQL, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Power BI, SSIS and dashboard creation and management.  Candidates should possess demonstrated capabilities with Windows based software applications, in addition to analytical software.  The hours are generally Monday – Friday.


 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Health Care Administration, Public Health, or related field

  • Certification and experience in Epic Systems/Clarity required. Certification in Clarity billing and home health modules, or achievement within 4 months of hire is expected.

  • 3 years healthcare experience preferred, with healthcare billing and reimbursement experience a plus.
