Overview

Do you want to provide compassionate, bedside nursing? Join Agrace’s dedicated and collaborative interdisciplinary team in either one of our beautiful inpatient units or providing care in patient's homes. Agrace’s hospice nurses provide patient and family centered care through nursing assessments, symptom management interventions, e-documentation, coordination of care, and patient & family education, all with the goal of meeting Agrace’s mission to enhance the quality of life for patients and families facing serious illness.

 

For more than 35 years, Agrace has been a nonprofit, community based health care agency dedicated to providing expert physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and families through the stages of serious illness. Agrace Hospice is nationally recognized for the comprehensive hospice services we provide in patients' homes, the Agrace Hospice inpatient units and skilled nursing and assisted living facilities throughout south central Wisconsin and north central Illinois.

Responsibilities

As a new graduate nurse, we will take the time to work with you and develop your skills. Agrace has a strong orientation program that includes several weeks of classroom and skills lab training as well as on-the-job shadow with a dedicated preceptor.

 

Our ideal candidate must be compassionate, collaborative & organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment caring for a variety of patients & diagnoses.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Associate degree of Nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Ability to obtain a RN license within 90 days of employment
